Accountant – Full-time / Part-time
The Role
- A hybrid role combining compliance work and business partnering
- You will have full oversight for a portfolio of clients across different industries
- Responsibility for accounts preparation and tax returns for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Budgeting, cash flows and ad-hoc reporting
- Regular liaison with clients as a trusted business advisor
The Person
- A professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) is desirable, but demonstrable knowledge and experience is more important
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a practice environment
- Confident self-starter with experience in basic tax planning and advice
- Experience of Irish taxes (PAYE, VAT, RCT) an advantage
- Must be highly computer literate and tech-minded, with experience using Xero a distinct advantage
- You must be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills to build great working relationships with our clients

Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper – Full-time
The Role
- A ‘hands-on’ role involved in the day-to-day financial management of a portfolio of clients
- Key duties will include:
- Bookkeeping
- Bank reconciliations
- Ledger maintenance
- You will assist with management accounts production
- Regular liaison with clients as a trusted business advisor
- You will provide ad-hoc system support
The Person
- Must be technically competent, but also business savvy and empathetic to clients’ needs
- The right candidate will have hunger, passion, and pride in their work
- The role may suit someone with accountancy practice experience with a view to gaining more exposure to industry
- Must be highly computer literate and tech-minded, with experience using Xero a distinct advantage
- May suit a qualified accounting technician and/or someone studying towards their professional exams (although not essential)
- You must be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
The Conditions
- Full-time role based in Maguiresbridge with the possibility of remote working and flexible hours
- Some travel to and spending time on client premises will be expected
- The role offers exposure to many industries (retail, manufacturing, leisure, FMCG, construction)

The Role

- The right candidate will have hunger, passion, and pride in their work
- The right person will ideally have practice experience with a view to gaining more exposure to industry
- Must be highly computer literate with experience using cloud systems a distinct advantage
- Experience of Irish taxes (PAYE, VAT, RCT) an advantage
- May suit a qualified accounting technician and/or someone studying towards their professional exams (although not essential)
- You must be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
The Conditions
