“I recruited Mark as a trainee accountant back in 2002. He carried out his role with diligence and integrity. Studying part-time, he went on to complete his accountancy exams and achieve his CIMA qualification. He won a reputation for attention to detail, and that led him to accept the role of Compensation & Benefits Manager. Mark was always using his initiative to come up with more effective ways of carrying out his tasks. He was one of only a handful of people I ever knew could use a calculator without looking at the keys. His strong Excel skills created a number of innovative spreadsheets, some of which are still in use today.
